Prior to the controller position, she served as a staff accountant for 5 years with a public accounting firm in Big Rapids, Michigan. The inception of Simply Counted Business Services, Inc. began in 1997 as a sole proprietorship. The original name was The Mammen Group Inc., which was incorporated in 2002. The office moved to our current location in 2010, with one staff member.\nIn 2012, we changed our name from the Mammen Group, Inc. to Simply Counted Business Services, Inc. It better defines our environment and the passion we have for serving clients.\nPatricia Diekema came on board with our team in 2011. She and Diana worked side by side for many years. Patricia took over the tax portion of the business in 2015 and Simply Tax Inc was created. Patricia remained a senior accountant with Simply Counted Business Services, Inc. while growing the tax services.\nDiana's exit plan was to retire in November 2024, with Patricia eagerly continuing the passion to service the small & medium size businesses.
