Austin graduated from Grand Valley State University in December 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting. Simply Counted is his first accounting position since completing his degree.
Austin was born and raised in Holland, MI where he continues to live today.
His interest in accounting began in high school after taking his first accounting class, which sparked his decision to pursue the field professionally. He is especially interested in tax accounting and looks forward to growing his skills in the profession.
Outside of work, Austin enjoys backpacking—an activity that has taken him to a few national parks, with Yellowstone being his favorite. He also enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing & watching soccer.
